Transcription Options

Cliptext provides various options to customize your transcriptions for the best results.

Language Selection

By default, Cliptext automatically detects the language of your audio. You can also specify a language explicitly:

Tip

For best results with Czech and Slovak, explicitly set the language code rather than relying on auto-detection.

Output Formats

Transcriptions can be exported in multiple formats:

• Plain text - Simple text without timestamps
• SRT - SubRip subtitle format
• VTT - WebVTT subtitle format
• JSON - Structured data with word-level timestamps

Speaker Diarization

Enable speaker detection to identify different speakers in your audio:

Speaker diarization works best with clear audio and distinct speakers.
